How is my data used?

We collect your email for account access and your chat history (if signed in) to save your conversations. Your messages are processed by OpenAI's ChatGPT API to generate responses. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete your chat history or your entire account at any time from the Account page in the app. You can also email us at privacy@salegalguide.com to request data deletion.

Do I need to sign in to use the app?

No. You can use the Legal Info Assistant as a guest without signing in. However, your chat history will not be saved. Sign in if you want to save and access your conversations later.

What AI service powers the chat?

We use OpenAI's ChatGPT API to process your questions and generate educational legal information. Your messages are sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. OpenAI may retain data according to their privacy policy.

How do I report a bug or issue?

Please email us at support@salegalguide.com with details about the issue you're experiencing. Include your device type, operating system, and steps to reproduce the problem if possible.

Response Time

We aim to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours during business days (Monday-Friday). For urgent privacy or data deletion requests, we prioritize responses within 24 hours.
